The importance of audiovisual technology in education should not be underestimated. There are two reasons for this; one, learning with audiovisual materials creates a stimulating and interactive environment which is a more important thing for learning; two, we live in an audio-visual age which means that having the skills to use audiovisual material is important for a future job. Therefore, exposure to audiovisual technology in education is so important. The audio-visual technology that is used in education right now is mainly the interactive whiteboard.
